Jonathan Kissam (he/him) first joined DSA in 1990. He's been a member of UE since 1995, was on the union's General Executive Board from 2001-2004, and joined the staff as Communications Director in 2017. He has served on the coordinating committees of the Grassroots Global Justice Alliance and the Vermont Workers' Center. He helped develop the VWC's Healthcare Is a Human Right campaign, which won the nation's first (though never implemented) state-level single payer legislation in 2011.
